I have worked and specialised in the area of Asylum, Immigration and public law for the last five years, both as a an accredited level 2 IAAS senior caseworker and as a trainee solicitor.
My interest in this area of law is both practical, I want to help people, but it is also academic with a strong philosophical inquiry into the nature of human rights law as applied to foreigners, whose rights are weighed against the “public interest”.
Hopefully my writings will help decipher and guide, but also contribute to a culture of transparency and accessibility, for those who want to know, but more importantly I hope, for those who need to know.
